Bring the process you already use.
Choose something you want to move forward: a change in your application, an upcoming interview, or another task that has been waiting for attention. Write down the stages it normally passes through.
You can start with our software delivery or hiring examples and change the lists to suit your team.
Set up the board and the agent.
Create your lists and add the first card with a brief and supporting material. Connect an agent with the tools and access it needs, and tell it how you want the work handled.
For software, establish a working development environment, a way to preview changes, and who reviews and releases the code. For hiring, agree which candidate material the agent can use and who approves messages.
If you operate your own agents, follow the setup guide. If you want help getting started, tell us about your workflow.
Work through the first card together.
Ask the agent to explain its approach. Answer its questions, follow the links to the work, and give feedback. Use that first task to improve the instructions before automating more of the process.
Choose something small enough to inspect closely. Agree what a useful result looks like, how much to spend, and when the agent should come back to you.
Decide what to hand over next.
Look at the work completed and the time you spent directing it. Include the cost of setup, AI usage, review, and any corrections. Use what you learn to decide which tasks agents should take on next.
